Overview
The extension is a companion to the Claw Market desktop app. It records and replays browser steps only when you actively start recording or run a Chrome workflow. Its single purpose is to help you create, replay and verify browser workflow steps.
Information processed
Depending on the workflow you choose to record, the extension may process the following categories. It does not collect them continuously or for advertising.
Personal information in ordinary forms
When you deliberately record a form, the extension may process ordinary text you enter, such as a name, email address or phone number.
Personal communications
If you deliberately record an email or chat workflow, the text you enter in that workflow may be included in the recorded step.
Browsing activity
The extension may process the active page URL, page title, navigation events and newly opened tabs so the workflow can return to the correct page.
User activity
During an active recording session, the extension may record clicks, ordinary keyboard input, dropdown selections and media playback actions.
Website content
The extension may process visible control names, selected values and ordinary text associated with the recorded action so it can replay and verify the step.
Sensitive information is excluded
The extension excludes passwords, SMS verification codes, one-time passwords and fields marked as password or one-time-code. It does not intentionally collect authentication information, health information, financial or payment information, or precise location. If a workflow reaches a sensitive step, the user should complete that step manually.
Local processing and transfer
Recorded steps are sent only to the Claw Market desktop app running on the same computer through the local address http://127.0.0.1:4318. The extension does not send recorded workflow content to JoinMake or other third-party servers. Workflows are stored and managed locally by the desktop app.
Why permissions are needed
Storage
Keeps the local connection identity used to pair the extension with the Claw Market desktop app.
Tabs
Identifies the active page, observes navigation or newly opened tabs, and sends replay commands to the correct tab.
Alarms
Wakes the extension service worker so it can check the local desktop connection while a workflow is active.
Website access
Allows recording and replay on ordinary HTTP and HTTPS pages chosen by the user. Chrome internal pages are excluded.
No remote code
All executable JavaScript is included in the extension package. The extension does not download or execute remote scripts, use eval or new Function, or load remote modules. Its network communication is limited to JSON messages exchanged with the local Claw Market desktop app.
Retention and deletion
The extension stores only its local connection identity in Chrome extension storage. Uninstalling the extension removes that identity. Recorded workflows and their deletion are managed in the Claw Market desktop app.
Data-use commitments
We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, do not use it for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose, and do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
